"the infallible" ???

i have a pistol that says "the infallible" on it. i beleave it is a 38. also on it ??ner arms corporation norwich. ct. u.s.a. the first letters are worn off. an on the grips it has (blocks the sear) can anyone tell me about this pistol. We were told this was a 38.

  Found this link with a good picture of the "INFALLIBLE" on the Net.. It's really obscure, there very little information, about it's total production & manufacturing dates etc. available.
  Supposedly the frame was a cast iron/wrought iron casting, if true, this might have been the reason for it's lack of commercial success?
