custom T/C encore rifle
Anybody know of anyone who does custom encore rifles besides E.A. Brown? Have seen his work but was wandering if any of you had any other suggestions.[:D]

Hi to all Encore Guys,
I acquired 209X50 mag. 26" SS with gray laminated thumbhole stock couple of weeks ago.
I'd like to ask some pro advises or words to help me decide what to get for rifle replacement barrel. I favoring 308 SS 24". I'm planning to use this rifle for deer hunting and some target shooting. Not for competition, but just for fun with the guys. I'm fully equipped with target reloading tools for 308 cal. competition dies. Actually, my question based onyour experienced factory T/C barrels (7mm and 308). What is the accuracy rate of these barrel?? Can anyone give me some honest opinion. If the shots groupings from the factory barrels are wide open (over 1 1/2" in 100 yds), I would go with custom one in 308, but if not too wide or within 1 1/2 (the smaller the better). I think this factory one is reasonable for its capability and price. My reason to know was is to save some money. I do not want to buy factory made one and if I'm not satisfiedthen ending up spending more money for a custom made. I hope this lenghty help message does not confuse anyone. Thanks in advanced.
