did you get the manual for the sweetspots on the boss system? It gives you some starting points for variuos ammo. My friend has an a-bolt with the Boss, and it can take a fair amount of shooting to find the "sweetspot" on YOUR rifle. His likes the Hornady custom ammo, give that a try.

    I'm a man,....but I can change,.....If I have to,......I guess.

    Ditto on JustC's note.
I shot 40 rounds on a .338 BAR finding the "spot" for one load and it changes with different ones. If you shoot several loads you need to keep a chart with you so you can change the BOSS to the right setting.
Call Browning and get the manual. If you can't get it, let me know and I'll copy it and send it to you.

My brother has a lefty Browning A-Bolt in .300 mag and he had to shoot quite a few diff rounds to find the "sweet spot". He found the Winchester Fail Safe ammo to be the best and most accurate ..

The fail-safes shot the best group (by 1/8 to 1/4"), but they failed to open very well on deer sized animals. I used them for a total of 20 kills, they worked every time, but just didn't expand to my taste. The hornady customs shoot the next best (down my bore) and have a better expansion, in fact, most deer drop where shot. I like the 150 grain bullets, but the gun likes them all.
