Savage Striker Pistol

I am thinking of buying a Savage Striker pistol in 243. Does anyone have any coments on this firearm. GOOD or BAD.

  i work for a sporting goods store and we have sold and ordered these guns themselves and have not had good luck with them. Mainly people buy them as beginners and it takes practice to shoot these. If you have prior practice then this is the perfect gun. We have ordered these in for people who want to use them since the county we hunt in is shotgun only or you can use these. They think they can take them right out of the box and shoot them accuratly and their wrong. Hope this helps with you decision plus a little advice.

  Jeff, It was funny to see your post on the Savage Striker pistol because I was also going write a post asking for people's input on this pistol. I would like to have it for next years deer season here in TN, I'm considering the .270 WSM, 7mm-08, or the .308. Let me know what you end up getting and how you like it,....also if anyone has any advice I'd love to hear it, Thanks!
