marlin 7000 trigger ?

brother has a marlin 7000 he got real cheap. It's a real nice squirrel sniper setup , but the trigger needs help ( lil slow and wants about 3 lbs of pull ) anybody know of a manufacturor that makes an adjustable trigger for this weapon or advice on making it a lil crisper?..............THANX AHEAD OF TIME RIGID
