Saxon is right on the dies, not much real collector value, put them up and see what they bring. Nothing wrong with them as they work fine! The Remington is ballpark somewhere 250-300. GHD

Send this guy a e-mail, tell him what you got and ask for an offer.

ATF, thank you for the tip. No, I didn't know that. A friend of mine has the .401 and I have been trying to find dies. I will pass this along. If this guy has the 401 dies, I may still be interested.

Vince, the Herter dies are OK but I don't think you'll find them with a carbide resizing die.

I would check what thread size they are. Herters dies, as I recall, were made to an odd dimension to fit there presses. I remember seeing die adapters that were made for them to make them work in everybody else's presses.

Do you have a set in 41 Long Colt?
Herters Presses came with a large threaded adaptor which when removed
accepted shotgun dies. With the adaptor installed, they took the standard 7/8-14 dies.
