HOW DO I GET THE R.H. DECOCKING LEVER OUT OF THE SLIDE, IT LOOKS LIKE I SHOULD REMOVE THE SPRING PIN BUT GUN WAS IN A FIRE (WATER DAMAGE ONLY)AND IS RUSTED.

  Mike: as I recall, the rear sight has to be removed and firing pin keeper/plunger has to come out for the off side de-cocker to be removed.

  Well, in that case take the advice of our mining friends:"Drill and SHOOT!" half a stick ought to be about right," it has been years since I worked on one, but I recall that with the sight and plunger and F.pin assembly out, the off side unit came out without great difficulty.
