Which 9mm, Para Ord or Glock...??

If you had to choose between these two high capacity 9mm pistols, the Glock 17 and Para Ordnance p18 LDA which would you choose and why. Also, consider you would be wanting to use nothing but pre-ban high cap mags (17-18 rounders). Which one has more available and/or less expensive high caps??? Thanks in advance.

  Glock hi-caps tend to be pricey, but there's no question about going with a Glock over a Para Ord. My suggestion is that you do shop around as a Beretta 92 or a Sig P226 are your best bet in a high quality hi-cap 9mm with reasonable priced first quality hi-cap mags still around in ample quantity.

  Between the two i would go with the glock because it is lighter and the para ordnance slings the cases back at you.

  I would go with the Glock. I see used model 17 mags available all the time. Also I can buy 10 round Glock mags for $20. All factory Para-Ord mags are expensive, even the 10 rounders.

  Correct me if wrong, but I believe all the p-18-9 High cap mags are LEO/export. The p-16 and 38 super mags will fit and work with some modifications, but why mess up a mag that is already $100. I f you want a shootable High cap pistol that you can buy mags for buy a CZ or sig.

  I weigh all factors and say I would go with the Glock.I have several Glocks and One Para P-16 .40 cal.Once you are used to the trigger their a great gun,but very pricey.Good Luck

  Being a devout Para-Ordnance owner, I would have to say para-ordnance, I have never liked glocks. But my opinion is biased. [:D]

  For price, availability, and reliability go with a Glock.

  I had a Beretta, but recently sold it becuase it doesnt fit my hand like i would like. The Sig is an option, but a little pricey.

  cwinn.Have you tried the Beretta Vertec? It has a thinner grip.
