Para-Ordinance 6.45 LDA
WOW!!! Is all I can say about this little beauty!! I saw it in the display case friday night and as coincidence had was feeling the need for an impulse buy. No buyers remorse here. I cant believe how great it shoots and the light and consistant trigger pull to boot. I may have to pick up another Para-Ordinance just for the heck of it!!!
THUMBS UP on this firearm!!!

I was looking at one of these just yesterday. How's the recoil from that little barrel?

I have one of these, and they are great little guns, however the recoil is about what you would expect from a .45, it bucks a bit but it's grip is large enough to make it controllable. 0 -
The salesman at Cabelas let me dry-fire one of these babies last year and WOW what a great trigger pull. I don't own one yet because there are SO many guns that I want. If I feel comfortable shooting a .357 snubnose should I be able to handle one of these Para's? 0 -
I-75:
Depending on the bullet weight from your .357, I would guess that the recoil is heavier and definitely sharper on the .357 than it will be on the Para. Even though the 6.45 is small, it is HEAVY! It is all steel so recoil is a lot less than my little cutdown, Detonics-size Lightweight Commander (smaller than any current small .45) I built in the eighties, and even a wimp like me can handle it, so a manly man like you should be fine with it! (Did I show you my cutdown Commander?)0
