Replacement Glock Barrel

My other post entitled "Glock Kaboom" seems to be "locked" - sup wit dat?

Anyway... Where can I get a replacement Glock barrel for a Glock 23 that I won't have to be concerned about a kaboom?

  I bought a Federal Arms ported barrel for my G 20. Very happy with it. The chamber seems to smaller as my brass doesn't expand as much when you mike it after fireing.
  It only cost $90 and was a drop in, no fitting required.

  The threads get locked after approxamatly 10 replies.
  If your worried about shooting reloads in a glock get the aftermarket barrel, the aftermarket's rifling is also compatable with lead bullets which the factory barrel is not.

  I would check into Brownells http://www.brownells.com whenever you are looking for parts.
  
  There also some specific companies such as Bar-sto that are known for making high quality third party barrels.

  That Glock's figure disproportionally in KaBOOM! events may be accounted for as much by their widespread popularity as a tendency some models have to fire out-of-battery, the use of lead bullets in octagonal rifled barrels, the shape & case support of certain calibers in some models, and use of reloaded or defective factory ammo.
  
  I have 4 - .40S&W semi-autos; two show an unsupported case web just above the feed ramp (Glock 22C and S&W 99), two have full case support (HK USP & SIGPro 2340). I find the latter two to be better fitted to my hand & shooting style, which may account for the better results I get when shooting them. The S&W appears to be well-made & finished though I don't care for the rear sight windage adjustment, as it has a bit of slop in the indexing slot fit.
