duty holsters for 40 cal beretta vertec
My dept is having difficulty finding leather duty holsters for new vertecs which are going to be issued to personnel with smaller hands. Anyone got any ideas? So far they have only been able to find two styles , one which they dont like and the other is over $200. I am getting one of the vertecs so Appreciate any info.

If this is for a department already issuing holsters for another model, say the 96, why not contact the maker and see whether they will make the same for the Vertec. They probably already have one ready to go--just no immediate financial incentive to make them. You can also contact any number of smaller holster companies (Rosen, Kramer) and get something sewn up. Maybe something from BlackHawk or Eagle can be made up if you want a tactical nylon. There's no reason why decent holsters should be over about $100, expecially if you order a bunch.
Another short term idea is to order some large frame, non gun specific holsters, like Uncle Mike's and replace them when really good holsters come out.

in addition we require holsters that do not have to fit with the light. they got the guns for better fit for small hands not for use with the light. 0 -
Call Ray at Ray's holsters. He will custom make anything at a great price. The last on he made for me was $40. His number is
1-877-486-6171. He's at a gun show this weekend, but his wife has the cell phone with her.
