Black Powder 12 GA blanks

Our Sons of the American Legion Squardon has a firetruck with a signal cannon mounted on it that they shoot off during parades. They are nearly out of 12 GA blanks. Anyone know right off of a reasonably priced source?

After discussing this with the Commander of the Squad, it turns out they have tried the dog training blanks and did not get the effect they wanted (really loud and lots of smoke). They are currently paying $27/box of 20 rounds. Given that they are firing this in a parade they were hesitant to go with reloaded ammo for liability reasons. I just can't imagine why blanks should cost $1.35 each.

  herters, cabelas, and most other hunting/sporting catalogs carry them. many pet supply catalogs also have them(field trial/canine training aids). best regards, mike.

  Thank you both very kindly. The web link D@D put on lists them for $10.91 for a box of 25. I really have a hard time understanding why blank rounds cost more than trap loads.

  Go to a gun shop most are reloaders also, make them a offer to do up some
