AR carry handle mount
OK, I wanna put a red dot on my AR. Obviously I need a mount. The store didn't have any in stock, so I'm off to shop for a mount. Are there any I should avoid? Which have you guys had experience with?

There's a $10 see thru mount thats open on top and gives way when you tighten the side screws on the rings. Don't buy it. 0 -
Fobus makes a neat one that replaces the front handguards. Only i think its for carbine length ARs. Bought one for a friend, works pretty good.

Pricey, but effective & very sturdy: Fulton Armory has their "Scope Mount, A2, ARMS" for $59.95, or their "A2, ARMS, Scout Mount" but that's $129.95.

Well I bought an Aimpoint mount today. All that I could find around here after hitting 3 stores. 25 bucks. Hope it does the trick. Anybody use this one?
