Sistema Colt/Colt 1927

I've been thinking about either a Sistema Colt ($300.00) or a Colt 1927 ($400.00). Anyone out their with experience with either? Experience with JDL enterprises? Thanks!

  Go with the 1927. All parts will interchange with the standard 1911. If has not been refinished and all the serial #s match is has some collector value.

  It all depends what you want to do with it. If you want to leave as is to put in your collection. Definitely go with the 1927, but if you you want a custom gun and add some after market parts(beavertail, match barrel, etc.) than the sistema would be the better choice.Sistemas' and Norincos' are both big in the 1911 community, for customizing.

  I had the sistema, it was a great shooter with a little tweaking. $300 is a good price too. I paid $200 for mine in "95".
