    According to the latest blue book, the blued guide gun has a MSR of $631 and the stainless has a MSR of $744. If your blued gun is in excellent condition, no scratches, nicks, marks, etc..., it is listed at $365....

    4wheeler around my area the stainless guns are going for about $80 - 100 higher than the blued ones so I would guess you would have a trade difference of about $150 to maybe as high as $200 being as your rifle is used , you should do better by selling your rifle yourself and them buying the stainless one

    gskyhawk.you are right on,I did just that.I am now the owner of a 45/70 stainless.Thanks to everyone,it helps to get info from different sources because I am no expert!
