Glock firing pin spring ???
Whats with the Glock firing pin spring? Just noticed that the firing
pin is still showing with the action open, I can push it back and it
will snap back on my 19. On my 17 there seems to be no spring at all.
Would like to know if this is normal. Thanks...

It sounds like the firing pin safety and/or firing pin safety spring need replacement. On racking back the slide about 1/2" the firing pin should go into a half cock position and the striker tip shouldn't be visible.
Call Glock about it. They have a service kit that replaces a bunch of parts. This factory "update" used to be free.
