Holographic Sight

I had heard of these red dot alternatives before, but I never saw one until today. Pricey but small, I was wondering if any of you use these and what you think of them. The image looks nice. I have an Ultra Dot which works fine and an older Aimpoint which is a bit of a clunker but still works. I'd consider upgrading that one if a holo would be as accurate and save some weight. What do you think?

  I've used mine on an 870 12 ga. for deer hunting. It's well suited to having to pull up and shoot at a target at short to medium range.

  I do not own one but shot a sks with one on it and I loved it.It would be great for shot range under 100 yards.

  I have used the Bushnell and the Russian type on my AR type rifles and they work great. I recomend them.

  I also have one on my 870 which I use for Duck & Crow shooting, works great for me.

  They shoot great on handguns, but beware if the cheap ones they will fall apart like any other cheap scope. I have shot mine on shotguns , rifles, and handguns. There isn't a better universal sight on the market. Try the bushnell holosight. If you have any questions call 1-800-423-3537

  The Bushnell Holosights are super on handguns!! If you can see the target you can have the dot on it instantaneaously!! No having to try to line up a scope or get the eye relief right! On hunting handgus like xp-100's or Contenders or Encores they are perfect! The 1MOA dot is small enough to get precise with your shooting. I have an xp in 7mmBR that shoots less than 1MOA all day long with one. It is the most amazing sight I've ever tried to use on a handgun! GHD

  I recently purchased a holographic site it works great except i get a little bit of a double image on mine I thought it was because the glass was not clean and proceeded to clean it but it is still there, might be a defect with mine but something to think about and look for before buying yours.
