Marlin No.18 What's it worth?

This is a Marlin No. 18 it is a 22cal. rifle with the oct. barrel. The blueing is great, though it does have some scattered rust spots on it, but other than that the blueing is great, also the wood is 95-98%. Very clean. Just looking for a little history behind it and a value.

  Thanks for the info Capt. Kirk. I guess I found the serial#... #34, located just behind the trigger gaurd. I take it 1906 would be right?
