What is a good Price
I have a chance to buy a Remington 700 in 25-06 by customized by Sisk Gunsmithing. It has a syn stock and a 3-9 Swarovski. What is a fair value? Is 2k too much?

It depends on what the value of the features offered is to you. For example if you are looking for a house and do not want a pool, and the house you are looking at has a pool, the value of the pool to you is zero and you reflect that in your offer.
The optimum situation is when the value to you is equal to what the seller is welling to sell for.

Rsnyder55 is right. Something is only worth what somebody who is not in distress is willing to pay for it. I think your question really is Are you being screwed? I dont think so. If it has a cutom barrel and it shoots well, then 2000 with a quality scope would be a fine price to pay. But like rsnyder55 says Is the scope the scope you would buy? If not then you shouldnt have to pay full value for it and you should allow that to be reflected in your counter offer. Sorry so wordy Good luck[8D] 0
