Tasco and Simmons Scope Shade

Simmons can't tell me if their scope shade for the M1047 & M1048 will fit the Tasco 6-24x40 scope. Does anyone know?

  I don't know if it will or not but if you need one try contacting ABO out of florida. They are handling old tascos now.
