Springfield Arms Company-12 gauge

Looking for some info on a Springfield Arms Company 12 gauge shotgun. It is a double barrel SxS w/nickle plated barrels. Barrels are 24" long. Stock is of a light brown/blonde color. Made in Chicopee Falls, Mass. and is Pat. April 20. 1915. Belonged to an uncle who has passed away. Have tried to find this in different publications and can only find listings for Springfield Armory. Would appreciate any info/history and value. Thanks
