High cap mags for rem 7400?
Are there hi-caps avaliable for the Rem. 7400 in .308 or 30/06? I've never seen them but remeber someone posting about them.

Should be I have seen 10 rounders in a 740 0 -
I saw some in CDNN's last catalog. There have been some made in 8rd and 12rd.

Do the deer in your kneck of the woods shoot back? A 5 shot mag is not enough? Maybe you should just practice a little more. My father in law has a 7400 and its a nice rifle but it would look real stupid with a banana mag hanging off of it. If you want an AK-47 buy one they only cost about 400$ with a 100 rd drum mag( is that enough?). By the way Im just messing with you, its your gun I dont really care what you do with it.[:D] 0 -
Don't you know, them deer are varmints are dangerous these days. [:D] You never know, one of them "deer" could be nothing more than some wacked out ATF agent with antlers strapped to his head trying to catch illegal hunters...he might shoot back but they seem to have a habit of shooting first. 0 -
No, the gun is not for hunting more for play. I use a 7mm mag to hunt with. One shoot and they drop. I was going to break out my new Weatherby Special Varmint for doe season but was not satisfied with my groups with it yet. By the way its a .223. 0 -
I HAVE 2 10 ROUND CLIPS FOR A 742 30-06 THAT WILL WORK IN THE 7400 BUT IT HAS TO BE 30-06 308 IS A SHORT ACTION 0 -
I think the ones for a 7600 will work just won't hold the bolt open on last rd. cheaper than dirt had some just don't get the eagle plastic one 0 -

The Remington 740, 742, 7400, and Model Four all take the same magazine. Eagle used to make a 10 rounder, as did Ramline. I have one of the Ramlines, and it sucks. 0
