I'm sorry I don't know the answer but if you go to
www.marlinfirearms.com then go to Marlin talk they should help0 -
Sure can. All you have to do is open the action and remove the finger lever screw. That is the screw that the lever pivots on. After removing the screw, you can then remove the lever by sliding it straight down. With the lever removed you can then pull the bolt out of the back of the action. When removing the bolt you will have to watch the extractor as it will not be held in with the bolt removed. You should look at it and see its posistion. It just sits in the slot on the side and is positioned by a protruding pin. When you reasemble all you have to do is lay the rifle on it left side, install the ejector and slide the bolt back in. With the bolt in about the midway position you can then install the lever. When installing the lever you will have to make sure that the end slides up into the bolt. Put screw back in and you should be ready to go.

My mistake. Meant to say when removing the bolt you need to watch the ejector as it is held in place by the bolt.
