Beretta Model 89

Is this model 89 the same size as the the 84 Cheetha? I can't find any info on this model. Thanks

  Beretta Collectors--I have a Beretta Model 89 chambered in .22 long rifle. I'd rate the condition at 98% or better. The serial number is C19xxxU.I bought the gun used several years ago, complete with factory hard case, manual and 4 factory eight shot mags.The gun also has interchangable front sight blades.Any idea when this model was produced and it's approximate worth? Many thanks.

  Top of the line Beretta target .22. Introduced in 1988, still in the catalog as late as 1999. The new price then was $750.00.
