holsters for sigmas

Does anyone know if a holster for a Sigma .40 and 9mm are the same?
I have a Sigma 9VE (compact) that is supposed to fit a Fobus made for the H&K USP compact. However, will it also fit a holster designed for the full size Sigma? I am having trouble locating this information. Your help is greatly appreciated.
