Polish Radom VIS
Looking for specific information. A friend came across a Radom VIS #35 pat #15567. This I beleive is a grade #1 Nazi gun with the eagle on the left side of the slide. This is about as much as I know. Serial #B 7XXX. The question is this. An extension of about i" has been welded onto the barrel so that it protrudes from the slide and has been threaded. Obviously for a silencer. This addition does not appear to be of recent manufacture. The question is, is there any documentation that this alteration was made by the military. Also is there any documentation of this gun having been equipped with a silencer. Are there any others out there that you know of. Obviously this will effect the value. Thanks

There are no documented VIS pistols with a threaded barrel.
A serial number for a pre-war eagle VIS must be all digits and you indicated it has a "B" prefix. Perhaps it is a pre-war slide on a early nazi frame?
Something is strange about this one, and nothing further can be said without more information especially pictures.0
