GB format change

Has any one experienced problems with the "saved searches" and "going, going, gone" functions? An example--- one of my saved searches was "l c smith--- exclude wesson". This search wasn't foolproof, because it still yielded some "wesson", and all "s&w", but it was better than getting 40-some pages of pistols. Now, when I use the same search criteria I get an error message---something about syntax. Also, "going, going, gone" now takes me to the advanced search page, instead of the old page with catagories. I've inquired through the "Help" page, and GB's response was---we're working on it. Has anyone figured it out yet?
