WW2 French Resistance Zipper Pistol?

Has anyone heard of a pistol that was air dropped to the French Resistance that was called a "Zipper" Maybe made by Remington Arms and was just a piece of wire and a spring with a barrel. No trigger, Just pull back the hammer and put the shell in the chamber and let the hammer go. Anyone out there ever heard of one of these?

    Don't know. Just had a friend ask where he could find one.

    They come up on the auctions now and then, but they bring some big money now, highly collectable. They only cost a couple of bucks when they made them, mostly stamped sheet metal. They were intended to use on a German soldier, close up and personel, then you had his gun to use.

    I think that the 45 ACP Liberator is correct. After looking at it with my friend, he says that it is the one.

    Sounds like a 'STINGER' to me......But without a better discription I hesitate to so name the piece He's trying to discribe....
    The Liberator has a Cocking Knob and a Trigger.....as did the Webley Special Forces Belt Pistol...all single shot weapons.....Just not enough info.....

    Hang on now. What about a Stinger? Were thet just more of a wire frame without a trigger?
