Wilson Combat 22 Conversion

It would appear to be simple, but I can't remove the barrel easily from a Wilson Combat 1911 22 conversion I purchased second hand (i.e., no instructions). Is there a step I am missing or do you just hold the return spring back and the barrel slides out without fuss?
