Stevens 311 Knowledge Needed!!!!

I found an auction for a Stevens 311 20ga with vented rib that is stated to be all original with 24 inch barrels. Did Stevens produce a 24 incher from the factory. I would like to have it, but I want it to be original. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!!!!

  Savage factory book states the 20ga. was manf. in 26" and 28" barrels only unless someone special ordered one. Hope this helps.[:)]
