Anyone have a measurement of the top tang screws center to center measurement for the Marlin 1897 Texas straight stock???? pat

  I had a Marbles tang sight put on mine. Don't know the measurments, but the 'smith had no problems drilling....just getting it done.

  Marlin company just called and said they only have one hole and drill to suit as long as no serial number on tang...
