Anybody know for sure if 1900 DMC American Eagle Luger made a presintation luger (nickel, with gold plating on the trigger, top of the toggle mag. releise, safty)

Of course I'm out of my mind. It's dark and scary in there.

Hello Collectors of lugers look for all matching parts and ORG. finish. So if I understand your question correctly you should be able to get a refinished mismatched luger for $300.00 PLUS. Be aware that the luger was a great piece of workmanship but it had a lot of hand fitted parts"UNLIKE A GI 1911 TYPE 45" so a mismatched Luger might have functioning problems.

Anyone with a shootin' $300 Luger, sing out, I'll buy it (or as many as you have) right now!

I think you may have to dig a little deeper in your wallet for what you are looking for.

It is a poor sort of man who is content to be spoon-fed knowledge that has been filtered through the canon of religious or political belief, and it is a poor sort of man who will permit others to dictate what he may or may not learn.
Once in a while a man has to fight...but you avoid it if you can. Fightin' attracts attention, and theat's the last thing you need. L'Amour

Mauser produced a series of Lugers similar to the Swiss military model in the early 1970's. In the USA, Stoeger, which has owned the Luger trademark in the USA since the 1920's, began in 1980 to sell newly manufactured stainless steel Lugers. I would look for one of these as a shooter, however, I am not sure what they are selling for.
