I dont have a clue as to how to reassemble one, but here is a forum that is dedicated to NEF firearms. Someone there might know.

There is no pleasure in having nothing to do;the fun is having lots to do and not doing it.

No fun at all. Gotta use slave pins. Bad idea to take them apart unless you're prepared to pull out some of your hair.

www.gunpartscorp.com has a lot of diagrams, some free to peruse on line, but most are available for a minimal fee.

if you send a complete reciever back to H&R / NEF / MARLIN they will put a new BBL in the available caliber of your choice for a nominal fee (i think its around $75.00). or get several BBL`s and build a combo set (.50 muzzle loader, .308 win, 12 gauge)...

    best regards, mike.

    D@D,
mrmike is right, and wrong. They won't put a rifle barrel on a SB1(shotgun)frame which is what you most likely have. They do,however, have a barrel exchange program where they'll fit any caliber they have available on an SB2(rifle) frame.
As far as the re-assembly goes,I've never had one apart, and from how some of the other responses sound,I don't think I want to.[:I]

    Good luck,

They're not that hard, but slave pins are a neccessity. I use wooden dowel rods, cut to the correct length. Push your assembly into place, and push the dowel rod through with the correct pin. Us ethe exploded parts diagram at Numrich, use a little patience, and you'll get it. Dan.
