We've tried a few of the nef's and the accuracy potential is good. I haven't reached the small groups some get but also have only used factory loads in these rifles.

I have found that I have to pull NEF single-shot rifles into my shoulders MUCH tighter than any other type of rifle. I don't know why but it feels like the momentum of the hammer itself and maybe the hammer strike is causing the gun to move more than...say...my Win 94 or any pistol I've ever fired. I'm sure the accuracy potential is there but I got fed up with my NEF in .17 HMR and sold it to a friend. Then again, it could just be me and my human error. I've never been a big fan of hammers on rifles.

Thanks for the info.. You know I never thought about the hammer strike making a dff, but can see where it might.. I might look at a mossber ssi..[8D]

I shoot cheap black hills and sellier and bellot out of my handi rifle, it consistently shoots half inch groups @ 100 yards.
