I'm looking for help. I have a 1951 rifle that has no SN# on it. On the left side of the barrel its marked 300 SH. Mag. Any one ever seen this before? When I remove the stock, it has FN, the date (1951) and the words Made in Belgium.[/b]
I had a casting made of the chamber and it looks identical to a 308 Norma BUT the shoulder is pushed back 1/8". Can I get the brass made ??

Ahh, with you now, but don't have the answer. My guess would be go with the 7mm, but maybe someone else will do you better.

That what my smith had said. the 7 mm mauser with an sport barrel of about 22" long. D&T and an new handle on the bolt. By I was thinking of the 300 Savage with an 20" barrel.

    Thanks
