Colt 1903 pocket

A friend just bought a pistol that is unmarked except for a serial number and the letters KV or KA can't remember? Anyway this thing is Identical to the 1903 32 auto. It is heavy chrome plated. And looks pretty old. Is this a Colt made for foriegn use or did someone make a clone of the 1903 that I am not aware of.

My 1st Shot was a bullseye on Gerber baby food lid at 20 ft using a Colt Woodsman. I was age 5. Been driving nails ever since. Thanks Dad, you were the best teacher I ever had.

    Colt did not chrome plate any of their 1903's. There were some made with a nickel finish.

    Yea I've seen them...
    This looks to be chrome. Maybe was done by an owner. Like I said it doesn't say colt on it. If I get a change maybe I can look at the barrel. My 1903 has colt stamped on the barrel.
