Purchased new in Germany in 1986. Gun has been fired on one occasion and is in excellent condition. Gun is stamped GDR as it was manufactured before the unification of East Germany. Trying to determine the value for sale.

  Are You Sure about the Model Number......? My Data Base shows the Model 201E as having been made in various Gauges, Pre-War 2, Raised Matted Rib, Checkered Stock, Engraved, Automatic Ejector...In the condition You describe....Worth $2250.00/$2500.00...

  The original paperwork details the gun as a 201E, checkerd walnut stock, 12 gauge, auto ejectors and detailed hunting sceen engraving. Pictures will be forthcomming.

  Perhaps this will help-
  Sold a Merkel 201E-.12 Gauge-new in factory case
  for $2k this year. This was a 1980's gun.
