  It dates to the period after the end of the First World War. Prior to Walthers introduction of the double action PP & PPK. Supposedly it was quite popular and made in great numbers up until the start of W W II.
  
  Stoeger sold them here before the war, even then they were expensive for a .25 ACP pocket pistol.
  
  If you have a opportunity to get your hands on one that's in factory original, very good to excellent condition, grab it.
