I did some research and found that Winchester only produced the high luster finish between 1978-1980 and then went to the checkered stock.
I could still use some help on it's value. Anyone ?

I paid $350 for one in 1999, scuttlebut is Winchester is discontinuing their lever-action rimfires after 2005 because Henry and Marlin rimfires are cheaper and they can't compete. I personally like the winchesters better from a craftmanship and quality point of view. I hope this helps, good luck...
