Remington 870 - 150th Anniversary
I am trying to locate some additional information on this shotgun. I believe that it was made in 1966, in a limited quantity.... The gun is in 98%+ condition as it appears new, with no wear on the stocks or metal. The seller is asking $200 - Is the gun worth the money as a collector piece?
Thanks in advance for your expertise,

Mfg. in 1966 only a total production of 2534.
Collector piece or not, in the condition you've stated it is well worth $200 as the Bluebook on it at 98% is $325 and I think that in my market area that value is a little low. Regardless, if you have the opportunity to purchase it I suggest you go for it.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
If you don't want it I'll take it, and I don't like pump shotguns. 0 -
Saftdave,
If you decide that you don't want to buy it,let me know.I'm a big 870 fan.
Hope you do buy it though.870's are great shotguns and very reliable and strong as hell.Don't think you'll be dissapointed.
Just my opinion[:)]
