After Market Stocks for Rem. 600
Do any of you know where i might find a well made after market stock for a Rem. 600??
And if so are they just a bolt up job or would a gunsmith's talents need to be involved??
I am leaning toward something synthetic for the weight and weather aspects.
Since these rifles are getting long in the tooth i have not seen any on the online sites.
Any help is appreciated.

Good luck!
I've been wantin' to put one on mine for several years now
and so far haven't found anyone who has them. Not that I'm
lookin' very hard anymore since I don't use it much.Seems I
did find one listed somewhere but now I don't remember who had it.
You've re-newed my interest,so I'll see what I can come up with.

IT'S WHAT PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THEMSELVES THAT MAKES THEM AFRAID.0 -
quote:Dear valued Customer,
At this time Boyds' is not offering what you are looking for. Boyds' tries to offer a complete line of premium aftermarket gunstocks. But as you know there are thousands of different inlets out there, and it would be impossible to offer a stock for every application. Boyd's will be offering full custom shop options at the start of the new year. Most of the inlets, and styles not offered in the catalog will be able to be made or duplicated with this custom shop option.
Thank You again,
Boyds' Sales Dept.
This is the answer I got. Maybe after the first of the year.0 -
Bobby i just a few minutes ago stumbled on a site called Bob's Gun Shop in Royal Ark. that has a synthetic drop in replacement for $130.00.
Phone number 501-767-1970.
I have no idea what their quality is.
I will be open to suggestions from others on stock manufactures as long as it is not some exotic priced custom stock.
I am looking for a drop in replacement so when i use these rifles hunting i wont have to worry about marring the nice original wood stocks i now have on these little tack drivers.
