anybody know if the timber wolf 357 mag pump action rifle is still made ? or anything like it ? thanks don 0 -
Yea, they were IMI or Magnum Research, both Israeli companies. They were introduced in .357, which i feel was a mistake, if they had started with 44 Mag, I think they would have sold more. Availability, and the fact almost no one bought one, killed them. For several months earlier this year, there was an ad in shotgun news, selling all the parts, semi-complete rifles, and some tooling for the Timber Wolf, but you had to but it all, many 1000's of $$$. Never heard if anyone did. If you have one ,I'd keep it. It may be valuable someday or maybe not, but it is unique. 0 -
These were also imported by Action Arms Phil PA ,three samples of this rifel could be purchased,, two were .357's one blue the other nickel finished. and the .44's in blue only... 5000 .357 and only 1000 .44's were imported, they are good shooters with a couple of draw backs , first the action is a bit sticky and second the slender design of the wrist in the stock can develop hairline cracks. The pros are, a unique adjustable stock for proper eye alignment when mounting a scope on their integrated scope rail, and very nice iron sights...good luck in your search it took me 8 years and $1600.00 to assemble a copy of each...
