Get a front sling swivel kit from uncle mikes.. It'll have a knurled , threaded nut (sleeve) that can be countersunk on the inside of the stock in the barrel channel... Be careful and don't make the countersunk hole too big..the serrations on the OD of the nut are all that keeps it from turning when you tighten the swivel screw... Good luck...

    GORILLA GLUE

You're not going to be taking it out, and that glue really works.

Just remember to measure twice and drill once (my dad told me that). You may only get one chance at this.

    Rebel James has the answer.

Put a Harris Bipod on my synthetic stocked rifle and tightened it down, it kept loosening up (thought it was the bipod), but I actually pulled the stud out. Put it back with Gorilla glue and cant budge it. Easiest fix available, the Uncle Mikes kits will work good but need more work.
