Hello HKman: Well you haven't given much info to go on? How about telling us what gauge, barrel length, choke, Field grade , Special field grade, Deluxe field grade, Trap, Skeet, Pigeon,?

I can tell you since it's been reblued, it's only a shooter at best, unless it happens to be a rare configuration and guage.
    Regards Dave

Sorry David, Here is all the info I have.
    Model 12-12 gauge-full-
For super speed or super-x 3in.
    S# 1552656 26" barrel

The vented rib looks like an after market it says...
SIMMONS GUN SPECIALTIES INC. KANSAS CITY MO.

I hope this info is enough. He wants to sell it and just wants to know approx. value. he is not really concerned about it being a collector or anything. He just wants to know if it has any kind of value thats above normal and I mostly deal with Tactical weapons and assault rifles so I don't know too much about the value of older guns.[:o)]
I appreciate any info you can give me.
    Thanks, Andy[:)]

Good morning Andy! Well if the barrel was measured right, and you really did get 26 in? (measured from the face of the breech bolt, with the action closed, to the end of the barrel) the barrel has been cut! Md 12 Duck guns only came with a 30 or 32 in barrel. So it's definately not a full choke any more at 26 in. Since Simmons reblues the entire gun when they install a rib, it really should be in good to fine shape. This gun would have no "collector" value, since it sounds like the barrel has been cut and it has a Simmons rib. Unfortunately the highest value it has, is in parts. Meaning if you tore it down to just the parts, and sold the parts you would get the most money. As just parts, $350-$500. In it's current configuration, short barrel, Simmons rib, you would be lucky to get $300-$350. Sorry Andy. Regards Dave

Thanks alot guys. Thats all I needed to know. I really appriciate the input.
Thats actually more than I expected it to be worth. I told him $200-$250, but he thought it would be closer to $1,000 and I did'nt want him to make a fool of himself, so thanks for your replies.
