Just wanted to know if anybody out there might be able to help me find parts for a Wittes Special .16ga St.Louis,Mo.I checked out Numrich and they don't have a listing for them.My buddy needs a forearm for it.Thanks again,John

  this is probably a 'hardware store gun', the fun part is trying to figure out who realy made the thing. you can try gunparts again and compare parts diagrams (stevens/savage, cresent, h&r, iverjohnson, ect). you may get lucky.

  Morning JF 1st...Here's some information that might help You find the Forearm you're looking for...Looking into My Chrystal Ball I find that WITTES HDW. CO.- Trade Name on Shotguns made bt J. Stevens Arms Company for Wittes Hardware of St. Louis, Missouri..............
  I've owned a passel of Shotguns that I've picked up at Gunshows and Yard Sales over the course of 50 years...and all in need of a New Forearm or Stock...and maybe out of 20 or 30 guns was only able to find one person that had what I was looking for....What You have is going to take some deligent searching on your part...Gun Shows and Out of the Way Gun Stores...and maybe you'll find an Old Gunsmith that has what you're looking for....I wish You Luck in your search....Best.......
