M-1 Carbine
I know this is scant info, but can anyone give me an idea of what an M-1 carbine made in Saginaw in about 80% condition would be worth assuming all the numbers match? Were any of the reproductions made in Saginaw? Again sketchy info, but would like to know before I go to pains to track this down.....

im no expert but i'll offer what help i can....
the front band is a type 3 ....type 1 and 2 had no baynoet lug.
The stock you described is aftermarket and is not a g.i original stock. the m1a1 had a folding stock they are the original paratrooper type along with the complete full wood stocks on the m1 carbines.

I'm not an expert but I studied ww2 rifles ..yours was customized....great home defense mines all wood stock bit bulkier than yours...have fun for me with it[8D] 0
