I have a 38 special revolver its older and it says "CRUCERO" on the barrel i was wanting to know some information on that gun i can't find anything on it and how much it is worth if you could help me out it would be gratly appreciated.

    I have a CRUCERO MEDE IN SPAIN 61 CAL 3220.
    I don't know anything about this gun, my father gave me this gun 50 years ago and I just had it cleaned and looked at.
    Can anybody tell me anything about this and what it is worth.
    I am not a gun person just an old accountant trying to find out
    about it. I think it takes 3220 bullets but I am not sure.

    I don't know if this will help you any, BUT "CRUSO", "CARUSO", perhaps other spellings?. Was a trade name used on mostly shotguns by the H. & D. Folsom Arms Co. They were made for sale by a large Chicago jobber/wholesaler.

    It would date to the early 20th Century, ( prior to 1930 ).

    Post some pictures of your revolver, perhaps sombody can identify it.

    Anyway as Rufe-Snow says....Post a Photo and or give us some information...A complete and total discription would be of some Help....Also any and all Proof Marks if any....? All Names, Marks and Numbers and where located....If it has a Proof Mark then I/We have a chance at least nailing down the Country of Origin....Best of the Holidays to You.......

    'crucero' is a brand name used by 'ojanguren y vidosa' of eibar spain.
    this company was in business between the two wars and imported a lot of handguns into the u.s.a. the name crucero was used on semi-automatic pistols and revolvers (s&w m&p clones). some other names used by this comany are 'apache', 'ojanguren', 'salvaje', & 'tanque'.
