Good morning Old Hickory: Well first off, there is a big difference between 90% and 95%. However your price of $400 is very reasonable. Not knowing what your state laws are on long guns, is this just a private sale, or do you have to go through a FFL and does the buyer have to pay any fees and sales tax? If not that is a very good price. Friendship only goes so far, I'd stand firm. The prices I've seen at auctions and listing sites are quite a bit higher. Regards Dave

16 Gauge was never as popular as the other guages here in the USA.....16 has always been the gauge of choice in Europe...I believe I'd take the offer plus Lunch and let the man have the gun....My considered opinion.......Best.........

It's a private sale in IL. The owner and seller need Illinois FOID cards which we both have. It's closer to 95 than 90 but It isn't 95 .
Like I said retail is one thing but reality is another and if I were him I'd have given the 350 offer also. It just helps me to here other peoples opinions AND I almost always regret once I trade or sell something because there was always a reason!

Unload it to him and take the x-tra money saved on 16 gauge shells and have a porterhouse.
