Anwsers Anyone??
I know this might be a bit much, but...
I am trying to identfy the .410 shotgun I grew up with (No, no one seems to have the gun, so wanting to replace).
Gun was a .410 single barrel shotgun with 3-round magaszine underneath, and with a HAND ADJUSTABLE CHOKE AT THE END OF THE BARREL

The .410 mentioned in previous post would have been approximatley 1-10 years old in 1973.
Thanks for your help

Mossberg
I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.0 -
Mossberg with a Polychoke (these were aftermarket adjustable chokes).
Stevens, Ithica and Savage are other possabilities.
Kressler(sp) also made a similar gun, but the time era is off.
The actual make may be obscured, as these were often sold as "house guns" IE made by Mossberg but sold under the Sears, K-mart, Wards, Penny's, Spegal store name.
Was it a bolt or a pump action?
ATF, not a arguement, but while (some) Mossbergs may have had them from the factory, they were also a common aftermarket accessory. My point being that it may not be a identifier or even a factory part.
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.0 -

The Mossberg shotguns were not after market chokes they came on the gun.I bought a 20ga. Mossberg in 1949. it was a model 185K for $26.95 new, and I still have it.Thousands of these were sold by Mossberg.[:)] [:)]
