50 Desert Eagle problems

Iv'e got a 50 cal. Desert Eagle and it ejects the spent brass right at my face. It doesn't matter if you use factory or hand loads it still ejects the brass in your face.
I had the springs changed and extractor polished and it throws it back at you with authority now!
I sent it to the factory and they said it was in perfect working order and shot seven rounds with no problem, and accused me of shooting with a limp wrist.
I don't understand because the first couple hundred rounds it was problem free.
Can anyone help me?

    Hey Capt,

    I've got an AE also, with a 10" barrel and occassionally have the same problem. I've been told it's ammo related also, but it only happens once every 100 - 150 rounds and I end up getting hitting in the forehead with hot brass, once I got one thrown down my Tee shirt. I've got about 750 rounds thru it and don't believe it's ammo related as i've shot whatever different types of ammo I can find to see how it handles them. it's a great gun, hope you can work out the problem.

    Riot helmet with face shield for now being a Capt. I think you can hook yourself up. Unless you're the mutinus crew of the Crunch Brigade. Seriously I recall a write up in one of my magazines/books about this, I'll see if I can locate it.

    Never been hit myself, but I scared the crap out of a couple people standing behind me. The way these puppies eject I figure that getting hit in the forehead smarts just a little. Maybe shooting a cannon is supposed to hurt a little. Just remembered, my 50AE was a Christmas present to myself last year. I can't wait to see what I got me this year. But knowing me I'll bet I like it a lot. Hope everyone is wearing their glasses while shooting. This is a very good example of why you should.

    I DO limp wrist the 50AE. I only weigh 165 pounds at 5'10"...I can't do much else. I did have an odd looking burn mark above my belt-line (I generally don't dance when sober...but the whole range enjoyed it.) Ejects are to the rear, but generally over my head.

    I have no need for the hand cannon....other than to have a hand tool to easily open a cinderblock wall.

    I enjoy it in small doses, it is a great conversation piece, and I'll be selling when the price is right.

    This is a common problem with Desert Eagles. I got rid of my Desert Eagle for this very reason. Never was able to fix it. I think it is a design problem.

    Tear the tree out of the ground by the roots and burn it. Burn it to ash and grind out the embers with your boot until there's nothing left. Not a single spark. Not a single seed.

    I also believe this is a design problem because my buddy Desert Eagle in 44mag does the EXACT same thing you have mentioned. I do all the loading for him and we have gone through multiple brands of brass, bullets, powders and load combos. Dyam thing just likes to throw brass to the rear.

    Mine did the same thing as well, got tired of coming back from the range with a cuts all over my face. I was told that it is due to limp wristing and that a set of hogue grips usually will help solve hte problem but that didnt work for me. So I got rid of it.

    I don't know if its limp wristing though since so many people are reporting the same and I've never seen a DE throw brass to the right EVER.

    I had mentioned earlier that mine does this every 150 rounds or so also, but just one casing then it's ok again. I didn't think of it but I do have hogue grips on it, can't imagine that helps with the problem, but thought i'd throw in my 2 cents since the grip issue came up.
